I have a Groupon, how do I register?
Either call us at 817-285-9800 or send us an e-mail at art.castle@att.net. Be sure to include your child’s name, age, parent’s name, phone number, Groupon number (the 8 digits located at the bottom right hand corner with the barcode) and the class date, description and time. We will send you a confirmation e-mail. Be sure to bring your “printed” Groupon Coupon when you bring your child to class.
The class I want is full, what are my chances on the waiting list?
It’s hard to say. Usually we have some shifting around and are able to accommodate. If it’s not looking good for you, we’ll let you know so you can make other plans.
Do you give refunds?
Sorry, no. If you register your child for a class and you have a change of schedule, we ask that you accept a studio credit to be used at another time. Studio credit will be given ONLY if you contact us BEFORE the day of class. “No Shows” do not receive a studio credit. Studio credit are good for one month. When you register for a class, we immediately start planning for supplies and employees based on your registration. We REALLY appreciate your understanding in this policy.
What time should I arrive?
We always open the door 10 minutes prior to a session beginning. We ask that you wait in the lobby until we call your group so that we can properly prepare for class. If it is your first time coming to the Art Castle we encourage you to arrive early, look around and meet the staff.
Is it okay to be late?
Wellllllll…..it’s hard to start the class without everyone because then we have to start over again each time someone shows up. Please make it a point to be timely. Of course, we realize that sometimes this happens and we’ll still love you!
Parking?
We are located in a small shopping center and there is ample parking. We even have a gazebo if you would like to bring a sack lunch. Or better yet, Chisholm Park is nearby.
My child has a severe allergy.
We need to know about ALL food allergies on the registration form as well as being reminded when you drop your child off.
Do you use toxic art materials?
No. We do not use any type of aerosol sprays inside the building and only non-toxic glue. We do not use any paint that would require paint thinner.
Do I need to stay?
No, but you are welcome to stay if necessary in our lobby area. However, our comfy lobby is like a concert hall and noise travels to the teaching studios, so we would ask that there be no talking during the classes. If you have little ones with you both Chisholm Park and the Bedford Public Library are nearby.
Can just anyone come into the Art Castle during classes?
Yes, we are always open to the public during regular business hours (10 to 6). The only exception is during Kid’s Night Out, during which we keep the doors locked at all times.
My child has behavior problems.

Paint gets on clothes!
Art is messy! You can assume that every time your child comes to the Art Castle, they will leave with paint or clay on their clothes. We provide aprons, however, please dress them appropriately. This is a rare opportunity for your child to be as messy as they want…take advantage of it!
